Here are some of our recent frames.Two large scarves and a colourful Peruvian woven rug.

Each scarf was hand-stitched onto the supporting mountboard. These were then fixed into frames to complement the colours in the fabric and to suit the customer's home decor.

Frames with a suitable rebate depth were used to accommodate the thickness of the mounted scarf and the tassels around the edges.

The Peruvian rug below was also hand-stitched onto a supporting mountboard and framed in a deep-rebate frame.

The items were brought into us following our customers overseas travels.

Art Competition Presentation

An award presentation took place recently at Tudor House Studio & Gallery in Sawbridgeworth where winners and runners-up were presented with their prizes. The painting competition, sponsored by In a Frame, Sawbridgeworth, was arranged in conjunction with the Herts and Essex Observer who we thank for their support and their permission to reproduce the photograph above.

After judgly huddles for the entries in our recent painting competition for local children we have an overall winner! Daisy Kershaw won with her fantastic painting of a gymnast in action over a backdrop of the Union flag. Her winning entry has been mounted and framed by In a Frame and was presented to her at a recent winners ceremony. She also wins an hours one to one painting lesson with local artist/tutor Paulene Brakspear.

The competition was run in conjunction with the Herts & Essex Observer newspaper.

Congratulations to all winners and runners up and a big thank you and well done to all entrants!
